Appreciate Life

“Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you’ll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you’ll find that you have more of it.”

– Ralph Marston

Always remember to be appreciative of the good in your life and of the people who surround and support you. Be appreciative of each day you wake and take in the breath of life. Show gratitude and give thanks without expecting anything in return. For life is about what you give, not what you get.

Stay True

Stay true to yourself, yet always be open to learn. Work hard, and never give up on your dreams, even when nobody else believes they can come true but you. These are not cliches but real tools you need no matter what you do in life to stay focused on your path.

– Phillip Sweet

No matter what you may face in this life, you must always remain true to yourself. Have faith that your path will lead you to achieving your dreams. But as you travel along your path, you must be open to learn and willing to work hard to tackle whatever awaits around the corner.

Happiness

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

– Buddha

Life is all about creating love and sharing this love with those around you. True happiness is sustained from spreading that same joy you’re feeling to others to enrich their lives.

Create Your Happiness

“I’ve pursued dreams and achieved them, but I don’t think anybody should think their life is incomplete if they don’t follow some dream. Happiness doesn’t come from achievements, or money, or any sort of treasure. Happiness is a frame of mind, not a destination. It’s appreciating what you’ve got and building relationships with those around you.”

― Janette Rallison

One of life’s greatest lessons is that happiness is a frame of mind. Happiness is a choice. It is a choice to accept yourself, your circumstances, and learn to find joy in every moment of life – rain or shine. Happiness isn’t about how much money you make; rather, it is about the relationships you build. It’s about the love you share with others and the lives you touch for the better.

See With Your Heart

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

It’s important to think things through and plan ahead, but you must not forget how to simply listen to your heart. Learn to trust your intuition and heart just as much as you do your head. Never forget that your mind is your logical guide to life; whereas your heart is your moral compass and most important part of you.

Memories

“I think the only answer is to live life to the fullest while you can and collect memories like fools collect money. Because in the end, that’s all you have – happy memories.”

― Sarah Strohmey

Life is all about the little moments…the memories we make with our loved ones. It’s about the relationships we cultivate. It isn’t about the money you make or the job you have. In the end, material things will mean nothing and the love we shared with others will mean everything.

Give Your All

“We never know when our last day on earth will be. So, love with full sincerity, believe with true faith, and hope with all of your might. Better to have lived in truth and discovered life, than to have lived half heartedly and died long before you ever ceased breathing. ”

― Cristina Marrero

Live each moment as if it were your last. This doesn’t mean go out and blow all your money on a lottery ticket. No, this means to give your entire heart at every moment. So, each day you are given on this Earth, give unselfishly of yourself holding nothing back.

Just Ask

“It’s never overreacting to ask for what you want and need.”

― Amy Poehler

Self care is the greatest gift you can give yourself. This means asking for what you need. It does not mean to suffer silently and be the martyr. Rather, it means not being afraid to say, this is what I want and what I need to be happy and healthy. And remember, what’s the worst that’s going to happen, someone says no….

Hold On

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.”

― Mahatma Gandhi

Today, it feels like the world has been enshrouded by a kind of darkness that destroys all it touches. It feels like the battle between good and evil has been lost. Hate has consumed love. But during these times of great despair, we must find the strength to press on and never forget that throughout history hate may have won many battles but love has always pulled through to win the war. So, hold on…for brighter days are to come.

Love & Hope

“When hope seems like a faded memory, remember love and hope will return stronger than ever.”

― Imania Margria

Some days are better than others. And sometimes it feels like you may succumb to the darkness. But it is at these times when you must remember that love and hope will triumph every time. So, never give up the fight, for better days are on the horizon.
